Friday morning we headed out from Rick and Linda's at 5:00 because we knew we had a LONG but exciting day ahead. Iowa is very pretty and reminds us of Ohio.

While looking at Google maps for the 100th time in the couple of days we had to plan this trip John came across this place and we just HAD to stop!
How could we resist a place called Mitchell, SD, let alone the fact they have a palace of corn!

We checked out some of the stores around it, which included a very different store where the owner had created a very dark maze for kiddos. Jayden got roped into playing a round of basketball hoops and it ended in a tie! I think the owner had a hard time believing our last name was Mitchell when he asked. HA! That should have at least gotten us 50% off! That never seems to work!?
