This morning the sun peeked it's little face up into the horizon and we were like little children on Christmas morning after a sleepless night of fretfulness of what we are forgetting and excitement for our journey.

Ok, I'll stop. (John made me do it)

We had to re-enter our house one time for forgotten pillows, not too bad.  If that's the worst we forget then that will be fantastic!!

 While exploring our mini van we discovered this nifty mirror in the glasses holder. 

Yes, this was the excitement of the day (besides our arrival to Rick and Linda's).

 Just in case you were having technology withdraw while pumping gas this should help you with that.

 Crossing over the Missississippi river into Iowa.

We decided it was time for a little surprise for the kids.  Jayden is majorly into Pokemon right now.

John was able to get some cards from one of his friends at work and that was fun for the rest of the way.
