Saturday we spent the entire day in Akron with Jayden. First we headed to the Akron Art Museum to view the amazing and wonderful art work of M.C. Escher. It was so incredible to see the up close detail of each print.
Next we went for lunch at the "Pita Pit" downtown which we did NOT realize is a chain that competes with Subway, which they were happy to inform us about.
We ventured around to various stores then to pick up some smoothies which Jayden decided he'd rather have coffee so we headed to Starbucks and got him a junior white chocolate mocha (decaf) I wasn't that brave!

You guys are quite the artsy family! The boys look like artist in their hats and ties. Sounds like a fun filled day. Funny that Jayden likes coffee! Start 'em young! I'm sure he loved all the attention he received. Was it for a special occasion or just his turn for a day on the town?
ReplyDeleteIt was just to spend the day with him, we haven't done that in such a long time! He's just lately been asking for a cup of coffee like on Sat mornings when John and I have our coffee together. So now we have another coffee addict in our house. We need to get back to the teechino we were drinking for awhile but first we have some yummy Community Coffee to use up that we got in Louisiana.
