Date Weekend

Our idea of a date has seriously changed in the past few years!
George and Penny watched the kids for us so we decided to do what any couple without their kids would do! We went for a 3 mile trail run! Afterward, still sweaty despite having used the miraculous cleaning power of baby wipes, we went to Chipotle!

Us after our first ever trail run at Wooster Memorial Park. What a beautiful place! It really is hard to believe it's part of Wayne County - It seems like a different state in there!

The next morning we headed up to Medina to retrieve my concrete table from the art gallery who was using my table instead of trying to sell it.

Enjoying a berry cream cheese pastry. Yum!

After spending a frustrating morning trying to retrieve the table and dealing with the gallery owner, Julie and I went back to the park where we had first met almost 12 years ago! It was so special to remember the get-together and all the silly things we did - one of which was take what seemed like a 6 mile hike with a group of people!

An older version of us at the place we met.

Standing by the sign near where I first laid eyes on my beautiful wife!
Oh yeah, and the place where she was too busy playing football to notice me!

Beautiful scenery.

The mosquitoes were bad enough to drain a cow, so Julie wrapped up in her scarf thus making her look like little white riding hood.

12 years later!
