Bike aboard

We've been wanting to do this for such a long time and just never have had the chance. We finally piled our bikes on and in our little scion and headed to Penninsula to get aboard the train. They have a train that comes through and you can ride the train, they load up your bike, for only $3 a person! So we rode 7 miles out on the train then biked back. The cool part is when we were getting ready to get on the train we ran into our friends Dwayne and Ellen and there 4 kiddos so we got to have a fun filled day together. One of my favorite things was one of the stops along the trail has a farmers market so we were able to stop, get a snack (best plums we've had this summer), bathroom and water break and the kids could play with all these activities they had out. I can't wait to go again, it really was so fun!

Here is our train! Look at the gorgeous sky this day too. We actually got there quite a bit early so got to walk around the cute little town of Penninsula and had a picnic lunch before hopping on the train.

We had our picnic behind this store as there were a bunch of empty tables in a beautiful backyard flower bed setting.

All our munchkins on the train

Jayden and Joel checking out the water along the path.

I guess we need a picture too!

The little farmers market- they also had roasted corn, ice cream and all sorts of tasty treats:)
