Sizzlers, a hike, then Del Taco

Sunday we enjoyed eating at Sizzler's with Caleb & Stephanie after our church meeting.

During our lunch we looked out in the parking lot and spotted this!

Whoa, it was HUGE!

After we had nice full stomach's, we drove to Little Cottonwood to do a waterfall hike.  The temperature was 96 so we decided we would drive up the mountain a bit and see Alta ski resort.  We noticed the temperature getting lower and lower and by the time we reached the resort we were in the 70's. Ahhh much better hiking weather so we decided to stay put and hike up at Alta.

 This was such a beautiful hike.  The path was so nice yet challenging enough and the views were stunning anywhere you looked.

 After we got to the overlook we decided to go up a bit higher so we could reach the top of the mountain.

 Jayden can't believe that we made it to the top! We are at 10,000 ft elevation, the highest we have been yet with the boys!

 The view was worth it.  You could even see 3 lakes at one point!

 The wildflowers peaked 2 weeks ago but they were still beautiful.

 Now we have to make plans to get out here to ski!
