Maumee Bay National Park

We had the privilege of camping with my cousins Mara and Ken and their two boys Ian and Liam. It was a beautiful National Park with so many fun things to do, we just can't wait to go back!

Ken working hard making fajita's while the rest of us find bugs!

A very special couple- Ken and Mara

Enjoying Lake Erie the first night.

Liam in his own little world and the older boys building!

Smore's smiles

The next morning the Byer's clan went fishing while we checked out the bike path's. The view was incredible! I enjoyed the scenery a bit more than the wildlife though...yikes! Jayden informed us that it was an Eastern Fox Snake and that they are NOT harmful. Sure enough a park ranger later showed us this same snake.

Some pictures from our bike outing, it made me want to live by the water more than ever! I found my dream home there and luckily for us there is an empty lot right next to it, so John when do we start building?!

After our bike trip we went to the kite festival where these kite expert's were having a little fun with the boys! This first picture is of a trick kite that the man would make dance around them then even touch the boys hands. The next picture is the boys after helping get this big kite up in the air! They were amazing and so huge up close!

Jayden getting a feel for kite flying, there is quite a bit more tug than you'd think!

Icecream social to cool off later in the day before our walk on the boardwalk.

The boardwalk was a beautiful sight as the sun was setting so we had great views!

Sleeping boys and nearly sleeping parents!
