We woke up bright and early Saturday for "Hoofin it for Hospice 5k" in downtown Mansfield.
Several of our church friends ran it too so it made it extra special even though the cause alone is enough:)
I ran in honor of my Grandpa "Pa", my step dad Joe, and Mom's fiance Pete, who were some of my favorite men and we all miss very much.
Pre-race exercise
One big family:)
The lone ranger (haha, I'm not sure what I'm doing)
The boys helping me push through the big hill finish!
I'm not sure how but I managed to win first place overall women!
I think Joel was a bit pleased.
Dylan also got an award and is already looking to run another race!
Way to go!
After the race Joel had another soccer game.
Team huddle
After the game we went to a couple of the local farm tours around here. It was great to get the boys to the farm. Grandpa really liked the cow farms, of course, being a CAB guy and used to have cows growing up.
I'm not quite sure whats going on here but apparently it was good enough to smell!
Learning something from Daddy.
Silly-ness in the cow barn.
milking time.
Got Milk?
Another one of our favorites was the alpaca farm we visited. I'll let you think of some of your own funny captions for these. I don't think you need ANY help from me. Hee hee!
Way to go Julie!!! You are such a great runner so I'm not surprised at all. :). Cute farms too. Wish we had more stuff like that here.
