Cleveland...take two!

We decided to have another take at enjoying Cleveland this past weekend during our long holiday weekend.  The weather was in the 90's but of course being right off the lake there was a very nice breeze and of course the windmill was going at full speed, completely opposite of last weeks weather.
John thought it a good idea for me to take a picture right where I was 6 days earlier in the medical tent so here is me with my super strength powers! (right)
I think the sun was a little bright for these guys.
We attempted going to the Science Center but found out they were going to be closing within the hour so we decided to check out the lake.

On our way down there we noticed this big boat  (Steamship William G. Mather) and decided we'd check that out instead.  Better yet, they accepted our Cosi pass so free admission, YAY!

Jayden and I checking out the gift shop. ( I couldn't resist playing with this picture)

While Joel was VERY interested in whatever was playing on this TV!

We went on a self guided tour around the boat following orange arrows on the ground.  While exploring we ran into a man who actually worked on this ship years ago!  He said he used to do misc stuff around the ship, painting and stuff like that.  One time he and his friend missed the boat so they had to ride out on the mail boat to the ship and climb up the side of the boat!  This was one of the only ships that had its own zip code too!
"Ladies and Gentlemen please brace yourselves, I think we're about to hit the Science Center!"

Next we walked by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to check out all the custom created guitars.  Wow, there were so many AMAZING pieces of art!

My favorite was this tree one, how cool is the top??

Jayden and Joel posing with their favorite one.

Next we headed over to see the HUGE stamp since this is something Jayden has always wanted to see since spotting it in the Weird Ohio book.  They are checking to see if it's really real!

Ever since the Marathon last weekend I couldn't stop talking about how much I was craving Thai food so we headed out with our trusty GPS trying to find a Thai restaurant which had us end up at Thai Spice in Westlake.  That ended up being quite convenient because after eating we just HAD to stop by Trader Joe's to pick up some favorites since we were so very close:)

For dessert we had to go to none other than our new favorite icecream place in the Cleveland area...Mitchell's Ice cream.  Wow, it's so good, and I'm not just saying that because its our last name:)
