Tour De Ashland time again

I can't believe how beautiful the weather was for the Ashland half marathon this year! Jayden ran in the 5k and John did the half marathon. This picture was taken before heading over for the race.


Jayden finishing his 5k, running 3 minutes faster than his previous 5k! It was so cute during the run the other runners were so encouraging to him. They kept commenting on his silly Santa hat (that he insisted on wearing), and asking him how old he was, and saying how impressed they were with his running so young. It was wonderful! It seemed to always come at a moment when he was starting to get tired then another encouraging comment came. Way to go Jayden!!



After Jayden's run I headed out to find John on the course to run the last 4 miles with him. Jayden, Joel, Grandpa & Grandma had a few snacks then headed to Local Roots for a little bit then came back for the finish.

Even though I technically didn't race I was proud to be in this picture of all the Movin Mama's who did. I guess I did get in a 7 miler- with Jaydens 3 and John's 4 miles:) Way to go ladies!!
