In April we had another special trip to Springfield.
This time on our way out we made a special trip to see our
Great Aunt Louise. It was so very special to visit with her and see
her new apartment. We are so glad we had the opportunity to be with her.
On our way to Springfield we noticed a sign that said the "largest rocking chair".
Well, I am always intreged by anything like this so we followed the signs to the chair.
And we found a whole town of large things!! Knitting needles, mailbox, wind chimes.
It was so fun to see it all and helped to get out of the car again! It was a super
cute little town.
Largest suspension bridge
I didn't take very many pictures but we had a nice good long run to
prepare us for our trail race. We enjoyed seeing Lincoln's tomb along with many other
things on our run.
John and I enjoyed a run in Springfield and he got to show me the capital
and Lincoln's tomb.
Enjoying a Blue Apron box Amy brought with her.
We had so much fun all cooking together.
We had a blast at the Springfield Museum together
Cousins (but another year older)
