Hoppy Tonksgeebing Day (as John says)

We spent Thanksgiving this year at the lovely Parris's household.
John's parents were able to come out too so it was so great to be all together.
The cousins did what the cousins normally do...watch Barbie videos.
HA! No but we did catch them giggling at one-busted!
Mrs. Amy working hard in the kitchen with her kitchen helpers.

 Enjoying our lovely Thanksgiving meal!
 Jayden enjoying some chocolate pie.
No Tonksgeebing day is complete with out pumpkin pies. Yum!
John and Bob chatting it up in the kitchen.
The next morning we enjoyed a LOVELY Jamaican breakfast at Ms. Kathy Parris's house.
It was such fun to try new things such as ackee and saltfish, fried plantain and johnnycakes along with several other dishes.

Later on in the afternoon we headed to Medieval Times for Dinner and a show.

Someone is about to get "knighted".
 Excited boys!

 Joel checking out the loot.
 and the show begins...

Let's eat!

On our way home we decided to check out a bit of downtown Chicago.
We had a bit of a parking dilemma and a sprint to the bean but at least the weather
was decent and it was neat to finally see it.

The Mitchell clan not quite sure how to take a picture of themselves in the bean.

It was another wonderful time in Chicago!
Thank you to the Parris's for putting up with us all:)
