Since John had the day off on Friday we decided to head to Huron and go to the beach for the day.
A day at the beach wouldn't be complete without a sand castle!
Joel tried to swim but it was a little chilly still.
John enjoying some pistachios from the blanket.
Jayden and Joel decided to bury each other with sand...
and this was the aftermath.
Next we cleaned off as best as we could and headed to Sheldon Marsh Nature preserve.
This was no "scaredy squirrel!"
After discovering a old abandoned NASA water pumping station we headed over to check out the water. John thought he saw a snake so they were all looking for it.
He definitely saw a snake, they were all over the rocks sun bathing we soon discovered.
We had to watch where we stepped. Yikes!
A snake family all curled up under a rock.
I did some yoga on the beach while they looked for snakes. Ha ha, not really.
A panoramic view
Relaxing in some beach chairs we found.
John convincing the boys that snake skins are in fact very nutritious and full of vitamins I'm sure.
Jayden sharing his discoveries.
Can you tell where this is?
Our friendly squirrel saying goodbye and just making sure we didn't have a snack for him.
I get a little camera happy at the beach.
Great pictures. Snakes are gross . Sorry been so long since I looked at your blog!! I've missed a lot!!
