We discovered a new little bookstore and coffee shop in Mansfield.
We also went on a fun little (well, ok long) trip to Springfield over my birthday weekend.
It was such a wonderful time, it made turning a year older SO much more fun:)
Enjoying dinner together at Cheddars!
Jeanette was so sweet and baked me a birthday cake!
The cousins all really enjoyed Scheels, which had a huge fish tank and even a ferris wheel!
Listening to Abe's wisdom
Testing their shooting skills.
Joel enjoying the ride with Aunt Amy!
Jayden's face looks exactly how I felt!
I never realized how scary a ferris wheel ride is at 31. I used to LOVE this ride!
Enjoying some corndog's after Scheels.
John and I also ran the Lincoln Memorial Half Marathon. Due to injury John had to drop out early but was able to join in with me again at the finish. We are hoping to do this one again next year, injury free!!
Grandma Penny and Esther Byler went to Joel's classroom for a little storytime and fun!
Joel was excited but later admits he was just an "atom" embarrassed.
Fun times at Carter's bake sale. This is the only picture I have but Rachel did an awesome job
at capturing the event at her blog for Carter.

Jayden had a really fun "Green-themed" choir concert which he performed 3 times!
This was at the Ring In Spring at our fairgrounds.
Singing a going-green rap. Bring on the shades!
Funny glasses from Grandma Penny. Good thing Jayden didn't have these at the concert!
Helping outside.
Play ball!
Jayden's school concert
Great job Jayden!
Joel proud of his story.
Joel asked for a beard at the Art's festival, hmmm...I wonder why?
