Cone trees, sing-a-longs & lights at Kingwood

Joel had a very busy week at school the last couple days before break:
  • Monday was Polar Express Day. They got to wear PJ's have fun crafts, snacks & a movie
  • Tuesday was Christmas around the world at school so the kiddo's got to go from room to room, wait...I mean uh Country to Country to do different crafts and projects in each room
  • Wednesday was the last day of school and so the kiddo's had an all school sing along as well as getting to make fun Christmas trees out of ice cream cones and let's not forget...an extra recess!
Our neighbor Diana gave our family tickets to go and enjoy the Christmas lights at Kingwood Center and that's exactly what we did.
The ballroom was full of several different gingerbread houses so we had to vote for our favorite one!
Check out this one, done just like the mansion we are in!
The rooms were all so stunning and the detail in each room decor was just amazing! There was even a wreath made from spray painted basil leaves, it was incredible.

After walking around the mansion we walked to the green houses where we enjoyed some hot chocolates and some nice warm temp's especially in the tropical plants green room!
