We were so glad to have Carl and Jeanette come and stay with us over Joel's birthday. We enjoyed some pizza at East of Chicago Thursday night. Friday we checked out Planktown Market and Olivesburg General store before heading to Mansfield for some more shopping. We ate a quick bite at Chipotle for supper, yum! Saturday we went to Local Roots then later Jeanette and I headed up to Lodi outlet mall, while John and Carl had to go check out what kind of specials were going on at the Fin, Feather & Fur. Grandpa & Grandma got Joel a fishing pole for his birthday and he has just loved casting it! We hope to get him out there and do the real thing real soon.
Joel practices his cast.
Saturday night we watched Baby Zella for a bit:)
Joel helping Daddy grill his birthday hotdogs and burgers.
It's time to eat!
The boys showing Logan some interesting stuff on the kindle.
Making a wish!
Joel also insisted on having "Happy Birthday Tapioca" for his birthday. He likes to eat it warm because he is to impatient to wait for it to cool down. I don't think that was a hit for the rest of our guests, but hey it's whatever the birthday boy wants;)
Posing with our 10 and 6 year olds! Wow, how is that even possible.
Joel enjoying gift opening time, what fun!
A family picture before Rach and Logan head off to CA.
Trying out the new face paints...
John busted everyone on their electronics later, ha!
