The Greatest Treasure

The Greatest Treasure:
What can a poor man teach a rich man about life's greatest treasure?

Long ago in China, there lived a rich man named Pang and a poor man named Li.  All day long, Pang counted his money and worried about how he should spend it.  Nearby, humble Li worked his small farm.  Whenever he had the chance, Li played merry songs on his flute for his whole family to enjoy.  When Pang decided to give Li a bag full of gold coins, Li is delighted at first with his new fortune.  But soon enough, it becomes a burden.  At last, Li's youngest daughter helps him see that the greatest treasure is the one he has carried in his heart all along.  Li finds a clever way to share with Pang this most precious treasure.

Edison school choir performed an adorable little play and musical for us.  Jayden was one of the rich mans 5 sons.  It was another amazing little performance, with a colorful Dragon parade, ribbon dancers, ballet skit, bamboo flute solo and martial arts performance as well.  We will have to upload videos once we down size them a little.  Jayden just adores Mrs. Kinney his music teacher.
