We started his special day at Lehmans Hardware in Kidron, where we spent lots of time looking at all kinds of hardware and kitchenware when all of a sudden we all realized it was wayyy to crowded and busy so we left. We started walking and came across a little museum we thought we'd check out. Well low and behold our family tree was on the wall and Aaron and I found our names on that tree! (photos below) We decided we wanted some ice cream but didn't want to spend a lot of money so.....
off to McDonald's we go for the $0.50 ice cream cones and they are GOOD! I'm sure I've had well over 50 of these this summer. We hung out for awhile at the kid area and us bigger kids played video games, this was a fancy McDonalds!
Next we were off to Spaghetti Warehouse to meet Mom and Pete for dinner. We enjoyed the wait staff singing to John for his 21st birthday according to our lovely waitress! I think she must have been trying for a large tip;)
John got to stand up during this lovely performance and I think I was more embarrassed than he was even though I knew it was coming!
